This restaurant is located right by the river in Owensboro. They have a patio out front which is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your food and drinks when the weather is nice. We ordered the totchos, fish & chips, shrimp & grits, and sweet potato beignets. Everything tasted good and we didn't have any complaints about the food. Our server Katrina was the best part of the visit, though. She was amazing. She helped us figure out what to order and took care of us like we were regulars. I 100% recommend asking for Katrina if you visit this restaurant.
The place was very nice. Close to the water, so if the weather permits I would recommend sitting outside. We ended up getting the totchos, fish & chips, shrimp & grits, and the sweet potatoes beignets. The food was good. However, what made this a memorable experience for us was the service. Katrina was our server and she was phenomenal. She went above and beyond. If you ever go there, look for her and she will take care of you just like family.
Yeah I ordered the beer cheese fries and they were wonderful the waitress was friendly and quick I also ordered the brisket sandwich which was wonderful I'll be honest it's pretty good they got several monitors on the wall they have tables and booths quite casual well worth the trip
I love sitting and looking out at the river. This place is modern and has wonderful views my friend and I enjoyed the hamburgers. Big and juicy fresh buns all the toppings perfect. The sweet potato fries were notably crunchy on the outside just the right amount of softness on the inside, they're bigger than most. I enjoyed a local beer. It was good and cold and delicious. They had a wide selection. The staff could be improved. They weren't that attentive. It was hard to get their attention when you need something. The prices on the drinks are expense. The food is a few dollars more than comparable places. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy.
When passing through Owensboro this is a pretty good spot to stop for some typical Americana style food. The service was a little bit slower than other places we've been but we were in no rush so that didn't bother us. We decoy to sit out on the patio and chat with family about or next roadtrip destination. This gave us the great view of the river and the fountains just outside of the restaurant. Overall this is a pretty nice place to stop.
Really like the menu options with something for everyone! Just not enough TV's for the NFL games on Sunday. Really excited to see something like this in Owensboro especially bringing people downtown! Great use of the space! Just heard the TV situation is changing by the end of August so will be back for another visit!
